The final 15 minutes will be a dedicated space for questions, discussion, and sharing ideas on how we can work together to support students.

Beneath the Silence have been holding popular sound bath spaces for the past few years, creating deeply relaxing experiences that bring together live sound, frequency and meditation.

For this special event in the Students’ Union events space, live Hertz frequencies will be layered beneath a rich soundtrack of nature sounds, electronic textures and healing instruments, surrounding you in sound and vibration. You don’t need to meditate, perform or even know what a sound bath is — simply get comfortable, close your eyes and listen.

Sound baths are commonly used as a relaxation practice, and many people report feeling calmer, sleeping more deeply and experiencing a sense of emotional release or reset afterwards.

You’ll also have the option to experience traditional Japanese Reiki during the sound bath. Gentle hands-on or hands-off Reiki will be offered by trained practitioners, adding another layer of stillness and relaxation to the experience.

Think part live electronic performance, part meditation, part sensory escape.

Come exactly as you are with a yoga mat and blanket pillow etc anything that makes you feel more cosy , Put your phone away for an hour, get comfortable and allow yourself to do absolutely nothing.
