We hosted our first International Students Get Together of the year, and it was a fantastic success. With over 70 students in attendance, the event had a great turn out, filling the room with energy, laughter, and new friendships!
In collaboration with Oasis, We celebrated Inter Faith Week last week with a range of great events and experiences.
Running from the 9th of November to the 16th, was ran by the chaplains at the Oasis centre and aimed to bring together students of different faiths and no faith through understanding and mutual respect.

The end of November marks UK Disability History Month, running between the 20th of November to the 20th of December, and aims to promote and celebrate the historical contributions of the disabled community - This year’s theme, ‘Disability, Life and Death.’

November marks Men's mental health men, and here on International Men's day (19th November), we're here to let you know we're always on hand to help. its important anyone struggling knows where to look and it's important that we help shift the narrative on mental health. It starts with you, your friends and your family, by breaking down the culture of silence and talking to those in your circle. International Students enrolling for the new academic year will receive email communication from the University clarifying outstanding tuition fee payments and the updated process.
Over the last week, the Elected Officers of the Students’ Union received feedback from international students who were struggling to meet the original deadline set to pay the remaining 50% of their tuition. The Officers took this feedback directly to the Vice Chancellor's Group of the University.
