Role summary: Do you care about building strong, inclusive student communities and turning student voices into meaningful change? We're recruiting a number of Student Community Organisers to help students connect, organise and take action on the issues that matter most to them. This is a paid, part-time role ideal for students who are passionate about equity, inclusion, and collective action.

As a Student Community Organiser you will:

• Build relationships and listen deeply to students' experiences

• Develop confident student leaders and inclusive communities

You'll be supported by the Community Engagement Team and trained in community organising approaches, including Citizens UK Community Organiser Training.

Mandatory training requirement:
Successful candidates will be provided with ad-hoc training over the summer and must attend Citizens UK Community Organiser Training on Preston campus on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th September 2026. Attendance on both days is essential and a condition of being appointed to the role.

Who can apply:
You must be a current student at the University of Lancashire and able to commit to the stated weekly hours, one selection day, and the Citizens UK training dates. We particularly encourage applications from students with lived experience of underrepresented or marginalised communities.
