The Advice Service provides free, confidential and independent advice, support and representation for students.
We can help with a range of academic issues. Select one of the topic areas below for more information.
🔴 Service Update - 15/09 🔴
The Service is open to new enquiries. We are working to a 7 working day response timeline and will not be able to provide advice to those engaging at late notice (less than 2 working days).
We are currently prioritising Appeals that are engaging promptly upon release of results.
Students who have not engaged with us by 3pm on 15th September for their appeals deadline of September 18th are highly unlikely to receive advice on their appeal.
Thank you for your patience.
The team is working hard to support everyone as quickly as possible.
🚨Results Season and Appeals🚨
In order to receive advice on your appeal promptly, please ensure you provide the following when completing your enquiry form:
- Your Transcript available on MyUniversity
- A draft statement based on at least one of the grounds for an Academic Appeal (this could simply be your timeline of events and how it impacted you)
- Your evidence (or at least tell us what evidence you intend to rely upon)
Enquiries will NOT be passed to an advisor until the transcript and draft statement are provided.
