🟢Service Update - 17/06🟢

We are currently working to a 5 working day response time, so please allow time for us to get back to you. Please avoid messaging us more than once as it can delay our response to you.

🚨Results Season and Appeals🚨

For many students, results will be released on Monday 15th June. We know this can bring a mixture of feelings, particularly for students who are considering whether to appeal an academic result.

Academic Appeals must be submitted within 10 working days of your results being released. For students receiving results on Monday 15th June, this means the appeal deadline is Friday 26th June.

If you are thinking about submitting an Academic Appeal and would like advice from the Students’ Union, please complete our enquiry form as soon as possible.

To help us understand your situation and advise you properly, please include:

  1. Your transcript, available on MyUniversity
  2. A draft statement based on at least one of the grounds for an Academic Appeal
  3. Your evidence, or a note explaining what evidence you intend to rely on

Your draft statement does not need to be polished. It can be a simple timeline of what happened, how this affected you, and how it links to one of the appeal grounds. This gives us something clear to work from and helps us provide advice more quickly.

Enquiries will only be passed to an advisor once your transcript and draft statement have been provided.

You can find basic guidance in the Academic Appeals section of our website. There is also an Academic Appeals video on the website which explains the process and may help you understand what to include before you submit your enquiry.

Students will be advised on a first come, first served basis. If you have not contacted us with your transcript and draft statement by Thursday 18th June at 9am, we cannot guarantee that you will receive advice in time to submit your Academic Appeal before the deadline.

Please contact us as early as you can and make sure you include the key information requested when you complete the enquiry form.

Thank you for your patience, our team is working hard to support everyone as quickly as possible.
