Dear students,

We are deeply saddened by the devastating flash floods in Nepal and the loss of life and widespread destruction they have caused.

Our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones, those still waiting for news of family and friends, and everyone whose lives and communities have been affected.

We know this will be an incredibly difficult and worrying time for many, including members of our Nepalese Community here at the University of Lancashire, and we stand with everyone affected.

Our thoughts are also with the emergency services, rescue teams and volunteers continuing to search for those who remain missing and provide support to affected communities.
