"The theme of this year's World Mental Health Day is to prioritise mental health and wellbeing globally.
Globally? You might think that means across the world, but what about in your own world? Like your home, your lectures, your job, or your social circles? Mental health is something that can affect any aspect of your life.
It doesn’t matter where you’re from, what you’re studying, or what you want to go onto do, your mental health matters.
Prioritising your mental health might look like having a cosy night in, treating yourself to a takeout or joining a sports club and spending time with friends. What we’re trying to say is, whatever it is that makes you feel good, you should prioritise it and not feel guilty for it.
Wanna leave the party early? Do it! Wanna stay in and cook instead? Do it! Wanna go home for the weekend? Do it!
There is so much pressure on students to constantly be doing that you forget to be kind to your mind. So, this is a little message to remind you to declutter your space, declutter your mind and declutter your time. Be kind to your mind."
