The evening was packed with games that brought everyone together, including musical chairs, dominos, and Connect 4. Musical chairs turned out to be the crowd favourite, with students cheering each other on and enjoying the playful competition.

Alongside the games, students were treated to delicious cultural and international food, showcasing flavours from around the world. Sharing meals created a warm atmosphere where students could celebrate diversity and learn more about each other’s backgrounds.

Studying in a different country, or simply being away from home, can sometimes feel lonely. Missing familiar foods, your home language, or even the hot weather back home is something many students experience. This event was the perfect place to find others who feel the same. Connecting with people who share those experiences really changes things, it reminds you that you’re not alone.

More than just fun, the International Students Get Together was the place to be for building lasting friendships, helping students meet others who understand their journey and creating a supportive community that will continue to grow.
