The University of Lancashire Students’ Union has been selected to host the SU Marketing Conference 2026, the UK’s leading annual event for students’ union marketing and communications professionals.

Taking place on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th June 2026, the conference will bring together communication, brand and social media specialists from students’ unions across the country for two exciting days of collaboration, learning and celebration.

Known for its distinctive campaigns and creative approach, the University of Lancashire Students’ Union will host a programme of keynotes, workshops, panels and networking sessions showcasing great work from students’ unions across the country.

Jo Walters, conference partner and Director of 25 Dots, a communications and marketing agency for students’ unions and other small organisations, said:

“I’ve been a fan of the University of Lancashire Students’ Union’s marketing for a while, so I’m excited to go and see it in situ with a load of Students’ Union communications and marketing people.”

The 2026 event will feature a refreshed format shaped by feedback from previous years. Delegates can also look forward to a networking dinner and evening entertainment celebrating the best of Preston’s culture and hospitality.

Hannah Mason, Director of Membership Voice at the University of Lancashire Students’ Union, said:

“Having presented at and attended previous SU Marketing Conferences, I was thrilled at the opportunity for our Union to host alongside 25 Dots this year.”

“It’s a brilliant opportunity to showcase what our team does, to bring people together from across the sector, and to share the ideas and challenges that make Students’ Union marketing such a rewarding space to work in. I can’t wait to welcome everybody to Preston.”

Preston is easy to reach by road and rail, with direct train services from major UK cities and quick access to the M6, M61 and M65 motorways.
