The Veterinary Medicine Community kicked off the semester with a lively Pizza Night that drew around 80 attendees! The event created a relaxed, welcoming space for students across all years to unwind, connect, and enjoy an evening away from lectures.
A mix of games kept the energy high throughout the night. The animal‑themed Kahoot quiz sparked plenty of friendly competition, while darts, pool, and a selection of board games gave everyone a chance to mingle and get involved at their own pace. Whether people came to test their trivia skills or simply enjoy good company, the atmosphere stayed warm and engaging from start to finish.
Students praised the event for its chill and friendly atmosphere. “It’s great to meet and talk to other year groups in a chill setting.” Another added, “It’s been nice, it helps us destress and unwind.”
Judging by the empty pizza boxes and smiling faces, this might just be the first of many!
