Voting is now open until 9am Wednesday 21st October to elect your Academic Community Reps and Liberation Reps
Students from across the University have put themselves forward to make change, stand for their community and make sure student voices are heard. Now it’s your turn to have your say.
Roles you can vote for
Academic Community Representatives
The Academic Community Representative will work with your School Rep to create positive change. They’ll build working relationships with the senior staff from your school to support and deliver campaigns that improve the student experience, as well as working with Course Reps, to escalate feedback and major issues, ensuring your voices are heard
Liberation Representatives
We have 4 Liberation Representative roles available to vote for:
- Disabled Students Representative
- Trans* Students Representative
- Racialised Students Representative
- Women Students Representative
They’ll make sure their community’s experiences and views are heard across the University by representing them in key decision-making spaces, including our Students’ Council and Students’ Assembly. They'll also represent their communities nationally within National Union of Students (NUS)
