Jewish students are a valued part of our Students’ Union. At this difficult time, we want you to know that you are not alone. We also want to be clear that we stand firmly against antisemitism, as well as any other form of hate and intolerance.
Dear students,
We are deeply saddedned to learn about the attack in London yesterday and the impact it may be having on our Jewish students and staff.
Jewish students are a valued part of our Students’ Union, and we are proud to have a Jewish Society (JSOC) within our community. During this difficult time, we want you to know that you are not alone. We also want to be clear that we stand firmly against antisemitism, as well as any other form of hate and intolerance.
We are working closely with the University to ensure support is available for anyone who needs it, and to help make sure Jewish students feel safe and supported on campus.
We encourage anyone who needs support to please reach out to any of the following resources:
External support
Community Security Trust (CST) is the charity that protects British Jews from terrorism and antisemitism. CST's dedicated Student Helpline gives immediate, real-time support to students across the UK who are experiencing antisemitism.
