Welcome to Headstrong MHFC

Headstrong Mental Health Football Team was created to promote better mental health, raise awareness about mental health issues and to offer a safe space for those struggling if they needed it. 

We run two teams in the League, the 'Pinks' and the 'Whites' providing playing and social opportunities for as many students as possible. 

We were named Student Union League Team of the Year at 2022/23 Sports Awards.

Medical Societies Committee By-Elections Autumn 2025

Medical Societies Committee By-Elections – Shape Your Student Experience! By-elections are now open for empty committee positions across all 16 medicine-themed student societies, including the central Medical Society and 15 speciality societies (e.g. Surgery, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and more). These societies are entirely student-led and play a vital role in creating extracurricular opportunities, academic support, and a sense of community throughout your medical journey. Anyone can put themselves forward - you don't have to have existing experience on a society committee. We're looking for new faces, fresh voices and bigger ideas!
