Welcome To The University of Lancashire Archery Club!
University of Lancashire Archery was established in 2014. We compete in British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), North of England Universities Archery League (NEUAL) and external competitions across the country. We are also members of Archery GB, the Lancashire Archery Association (LAA), and the Northern Counties Archery Society (NCAS).
Archery is fully inclusive for all, just let us know what you require, and we will sort it :)
We train each Wednesday and Saturday afternoon at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Football Club from 12-5
Club kit is available for use, however, if you have it you can bring your own, if you have passed the assessment for experienced archers or the beginner's course of novices.
We also have social events happening throughout the year (both alcohol and non-alcohol related), these events are discussed by members, so any suggestions are welcome.
Do you fancy yourself as a modern-day Robin Hood or Merida? Then why don’t you come along to one of our sessions?
We are always open to new archers. If you have already completed a beginners course/already have an AGB membership send us an email or message one of our socials and we will evaluate your experience and we can discuss the next steps with you.
You can also contact us on our Facebook group or Instagram.

Every year, our student groups elect a new committee to lead their group into the next academic year. Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the community at the University of Lancashire, meet new people, and develop valuable skills that will enhance your CV. You can run for a position on the committee, provided you are a member of your group. Students elected through this process will begin their role on 1 August 2026 and serve until 31 July 2027. Could you be the next leader of your group?
