Welcome to the Lancashire SU Islamic Society!

We're a student-led organisation committed to serving the vast Muslim population of the University of Lancashire.

Our core aims are threefold: To unite the Muslim student population under our shared purpose, empower them through opportunities of spritual, academic, and career development, and inspire them towards the ambition of greater pursuits.

To achieve our aims, we host a number of yearly, monthly, and weekly events, including (but not limited to): Welcome Meals, Meet & Greets, Monthly Socials, Halaqah Circles, Qur'an Classes, Jumu'ah Prayers, Charity Treks, Workshops, Advocacy Campaigns, and more.

You can usually find us at the Oasis Multi Faith & Spirituality Centre, which hosts spaces to pray, study, and ablute (wudhu), and is open seven days straight.

With the year already underway, we encourage you to sign-up for the society and grab your ticket to the next event - we're looking forward to seeing you there.

Unite. Empower. Inspire.

Ongoing Student Group Elections

Medical Societies Committee By-Elections 2026

Every year, our student groups elect a new committee to lead their group into the next academic year. Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the community at the University of Lancashire, meet new people, and develop valuable skills that will enhance your CV. You can run for a position on the committee, provided you are a member of your group. Students elected through this process will begin their role on 1 August 2026 and serve until 31 July 2027. Could you be the next leader of your group?
