Welcome to the Japanese Society

Introducing the Japanese Society!

This society strives to create a comfortable environment in which people with an interest in Japanese Culture can meet, participate in activities and further enrich their University experience, of course under the umbrella of 'Cultural Exchange.'

As a society, we believe that creating such an environment where International Exchange Students and University of Lancashire Home Students can interact will serve to benefit both groups, paving the way for new friendships and wonderful memories to be made.

We look forward to meeting all our new and existing members and providing the best experience possible!

Ongoing Student Group Elections

Medical Societies Committee By-Elections 2026

Every year, our student groups elect a new committee to lead their group into the next academic year. Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the community at the University of Lancashire, meet new people, and develop valuable skills that will enhance your CV. You can run for a position on the committee, provided you are a member of your group. Students elected through this process will begin their role on 1 August 2026 and serve until 31 July 2027. Could you be the next leader of your group?
