Welcome To The Jiu Jitsu Club

Learn the art of self defence.

Jiu Jitsu is a versatile and effective martial art, based on both traditional teachings and modern day applications that will help you defend yourself in an emergency. It is also fun, healthy and an excellent way of meeting new people.

We are a welcoming club that teaches quick to learn self defence techniques and tactics designed to quickly get you out of a threatening situation. We train two evenings a week, teaching you a wide range of skills, like how to fall without hurting yourself, simply getting out of the way of a punch, disarming someone with a knife, even protecting yourself against multiple attackers... the list goes on.

With the club attending regional and national events throughout the year, there are plenty of opportunities to meet and train with like-minded individuals from across the country. Not only that, you will also have the chance to learn from the most skilled and experienced instructors within our foundation.

We welcome students at any levels of ability - from those that have never even considered a martial art, to seasoned experts of any art / style.

We train on Tuesday from 7pm-9pm at Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre (Studio Red) and also Thursdays 6-8pm ( Studio Red)
