Proudly presenting Centre Stage Musical Theatre society!

Ladies, gentlemen and gentry, welcome to the Lancashire Student Union's only theatre society - currently showing 'Society of the Year' presented by the 2026 Golden Roses Awards. Please take your seats as we invite you to read through this free programme of what you can expect from us.

CSMT has grown significantly over the past two years and we have no intention of stopping. We guarantee to perform two shows a year - starting with our Winter Showcase, largely put together by members' suggestions, followed by a full scale production at the end of the year. In 2025, we put on our first licensed musical in five years - 'The Addams Family, a musical comedy' - and last year embarked on a transatlantic voyage back to the 1930s in 'Anything Goes'.

You could have been a part of musical theatre before or looking to try something new so at CSMT we cater to a range of levels from novice to familiar that anyone can get stuck into. We cover all three disciplines of dancing, singing and acting so everyone can be involved in our community. We aim to put accessibility at the forefront of everything we do, working with members to ensure equal opportunities.
