Welcome to the British Sign Language Society! We are a group that regularly meet on a Thursday evening between 5.30pm to 9pm at The Lampworks. Anyone and everyone is welcome, this is a safe space!

British Sign Language (BSL) is the preferred language amongst the deaf community in the UK. This society exists to bring together members of the University of Lancashire community who are both deaf and hearing, to offer social events and opportunities to develop your BSL skills for those who are learning or would like to learn.

We welcome all students, staff and alumni to our society!
