Hello! Welcome to the Animated Movie and Series Society (AMS for short). We are a society who are there to help people come together with friends and people of similar interests to watch animated movies and series. Our goal is to give you a space to relax and wind down when you're not busy with assignments and exams. But you're probably wondering what else is there? Every year, our student groups elect a new committee to lead their group into the next academic year. Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the community at the University of Lancashire, meet new people, and develop valuable skills that will enhance your CV. You can run for a position on the committee, provided you are a member of your group. Students elected through this process will begin their role on 1 August 2026 and serve until 31 July 2027.
