Welcome to the University of Lancashire's ‘Brain Tumour Charitable Society’! This society will be supporting ‘The Brain Tumour Charity’.
The Brain Tumour Charity was named after merging the Samantha Dickson Research Trust (1996) and the United Kingdom Brain Tumour Society (1997) in 2013. The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.
The society’s vision is to support the charity in aiding people diagnosed with brain tumour to live longer and better lives.
We will host various fundraising events and raise awareness about brain tumours to help support the people affected. We are thrilled to have you on board as a member or volunteer, and we promise plenty of inspiring events to keep you engaged and motivated.
Join us on this fun-filled journey and stay connected for updates on upcoming events and opportunities! For more information, please contact @braintumouruclan on Instagram or email us at braintumouruclan@gmail.com

Every year, our student groups elect a new committee to lead their group into the next academic year. Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the community at the University of Lancashire, meet new people, and develop valuable skills that will enhance your CV. You can run for a position on the committee, provided you are a member of your group. Students elected through this process will begin their role on 1 August 2026 and serve until 31 July 2027. Could you be the next leader of your group?
