British Red Cross Society

The British Red Cross Society, established in 2023 and based in the University of Lancashire Westlakes Campus has been set up to provide opportunities for students to partake in events supporting humanitarian causes and is affiliated with one of the most recognizable and established charities in the country, The British Red Cross. The society works as part of the British Red Cross OnCampus volunteer groups, which recruits university students to support and uphold the British Red Cross values of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, and volunteer service.

The events we set up can include fundraisers such as bake sales and walks to raise money for the British Red Cross. Our members will also be able to participate in educational events such as teaching life-saving skills like CPR and Basic Life Support!
