Welcome to the Pool Club!
Lancashire Pool Society is a competitive and inclusive society for players of all abilities who are passionate about cue sports. We aim to develop our members’ skills through regular sessions, internal competitions, and structured practice, while fostering a strong team environment.
A key focus of the society is competitive pool, with clear ambitions to compete in official university leagues such as BUCS. We encourage players who want to challenge themselves, improve their game, and represent the university at a higher level, while still welcoming beginners who are eager to learn and progress.
Whether your goal is casual play, skill development, or competing at an inter-university level, Lancashire Pool Society provides the environment, support, and pathway to get you there.

Every year, our student groups elect a new committee to lead their group into the next academic year. Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the community at the University of Lancashire, meet new people, and develop valuable skills that will enhance your CV. You can run for a position on the committee, provided you are a member of your group. Students elected through this process will begin their role on 1 August 2026 and serve until 31 July 2027.
