The University of Lancashire Oncology Society is a student-led community for anyone interested in oncology, cancer care, research, and the wider world of medicine.
Our society is guided by three pillars: Learn, Support, and Advocate.
Learn through educational talks, clinical workshops, OSCE practice, careers events, conference opportunities, and sessions led by healthcare professionals.
Support meaningful cancer-related causes through fundraising, charity collaborations, and community initiatives.
Advocate by raising awareness of cancer prevention, early detection, patient experiences, and the importance of improving cancer care.
We have an exciting year ahead, with plans including a virtual-reality clinical workshop, an OSCE Practice Series, a Careers in Medicine Panel, awareness and fundraising events, conference promotions, and fun sports socials.
Whether you are passionate about oncology, curious to learn more, interested in supporting cancer-related causes, or looking to meet like-minded students, there is something for everyone!
