Dermatology Society 🧴

The Dermatology Society is a medical student-led society dedicated to exploring dermatology through accessible, clinically relevant teaching and events 🩺 ✨

We aim to support students of all backgrounds by providing engaging teaching sessions, revision support, career insights and practical clinical knowledge in dermatology. Our events are designed to simplify complex concepts, build confidence in recognising and managing common skin conditions, as well as link theory to real-life clinical practice 🧠 🔍

Whether you’re considering a future career in dermatology or simply want to strengthen your understanding of skin conditions you’ll encounter in everyday clinical practice, our society offers a supportive, inclusive environment for learning and collaboration 🌞 📚

Ongoing Student Group Elections

Medical Societies Committee By-Elections 2026

Every year, our student groups elect a new committee to lead their group into the next academic year. Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to get more involved in the community at the University of Lancashire, meet new people, and develop valuable skills that will enhance your CV. You can run for a position on the committee, provided you are a member of your group. Students elected through this process will begin their role on 1 August 2026 and serve until 31 July 2027. Could you be the next leader of your group?
