Food, spaces, vibes. Tell us what works and what doesn’t.
The Union building is more than just somewhere to pass through between lectures. It is where student life happens. It might be grabbing a frappé or chai, picking up a donut between classes, meeting friends for a burger or toastie, or browsing Union hoodies and t shirts.
These spaces are designed to be part café, part social hub, and part student hangout. They help bring students together while also supporting activities, events, and services that the Union provides for students.
We are bringing together a group of students to talk about how these commercial and social spaces work for you. What makes students want to spend time in the Union? What feels welcoming? What could be better?
Whether you regularly buy food, drinks or merch in the Union, or never spend money here at all, we want to hear from you. Your experiences and ideas will help us understand how the Union building can better support student life and create spaces that students genuinely want to use.
Attending Students will receive a £10 voucher for the SU Outlets
