Join Our Free 'Reach Respect' Training Sessions
Violence against women and girls is a national crisis, with experiences of domestic abuse devastatingly common in our society. Did you know that 1 in 4 women over 16 will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime? Everyone deserves a relationship free from abuse. That's why the Students' Union has partnered up with Women's Aid to provide FREE 'Reach Respect' training sessions tailored for university students.
This training aims to develop the knowledge and skills to understand and recognise domestic abuse, build healthy relationships, and be a safe, active bystander.
Recognise the signs of domestic abuse:
Understand the types of abuse and coercive control, and learn what makes a relationship healthy and respectful.
Be a supportive active bystander:
Get equipped with the knowledge to know if you're witnessing abuse, confidently and safely support that person, helping to create a safer community for all.
