Join us for a guest speaker session with Meg Turner from Vets Go Wild. Meg is a wildlife veterinarian based in South Africa and will be sharing her journey from graduating in the UK to building a career working with wildlife. She will reflect on her experiences within the field and offer an insight into the realities of wildlife veterinary medicine.
Throughout the session, Meg will explore what a career in wildlife veterinary medicine can look like, discuss the day-to-day realities of working with wildlife, and share how her journey led her to working in South Africa. The session will also explore pathways, placements and opportunities that students may encounter when considering this area of the profession.
This event is open to veterinary students who would like to learn more about wildlife veterinary medicine and hear first-hand insights from someone working within the field.
Wildlife-themed sweets and biscuits will be available. Attendance is limited to 150 places, so booking is essential.
