Join us on Wednesday, the 14th of October, to attend a 3D printing induction in the additive manufacturing lab (EIC211). Please note, this session is limited to 8 persons due to induction capacity limitations. You MUST bring appropriate PPE.

Throughout the induction a technician will induct you into the FDM (fused deposition modelling) printers available to students. This induction will cover the conversion of SOLIDWORKS files (.sldprt) to stereolithography files (.stl), slicing .stl files to obtain g-code files alongside the required slicer configurations, and the safe set-up and operation of a FDM printer.
