📚 Session #2 of our Teaching Series 2025–26
Collaboration: Medical Research Society x Internal Medicine Society
An online, beginner-friendly workshop designed to help medical students understand the Internal Medicine Training (IMT) application process — from scoring and portfolio structure to the interview process.
This year, applicants needed at least 22/30 in the portfolio score just to secure an interview, reflecting how competitive IMT has become. An early start and a clear understanding of what evidence you need can make a major difference in your future success. This session is ideal for Phase 1 students and critical for Phase 2 students who are unsure about the process and expectations.
More than 25 specialties require IMT as their core training route, including cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, dermatology, haematology, and many more. Have you checked whether your dream specialty goes through IMT?
We will also be running further sessions covering Core Surgical Training (CST) and Run-through specialties, so stay tuned!
