Join us to remember Carla-Maria

We will remember Carla-Maria and offer our heartfelt sympathy to everyone impacted by this loss. 

There will be a vigil to give the university community a quiet space to come together, reflect, and pay their respects. 

If you wish, you are welcome to bring flowers as we come together to remember Carla‑Maria. In accordance with the family’s wishes, we ask that attendees please refrain from bringing or sharing photographs, both at the vigil and online.

There will also be a book of condolences at the Students’ Union Welcome Point for staff and students to leave messages of respect. 

A MuchLoved page has also been set up so people can come together to remember Carla-Maria. Please feel free to leave a message, light a candle, or share a memory if you wish.

We’ll update you as soon as possible if the vigil’s time or location needs to change, as final planning is underway and weather conditions may play a part.
