As a Liberation Rep, you'll play a vital role in ensuring students from underrepresented and marginalised groups are heard, supported and empowered to shape their university experience. This session will introduce you to your new role and help you understand how you can create meaningful change for the students you represent.

We'll explore the purpose of liberation representation, the responsibilities and opportunities that come with being a Liberation Rep, and how you can gather student views, identify common issues and advocate for change. You'll also learn about the meetings, projects and campaigns you'll be involved in throughout the year, as well as the support available from the Students' Union to help you succeed.

By the end of the session, you'll have a clear understanding of your role, feel confident about representing your community, and be ready to start building connections, amplifying student voices and driving positive change.
