Tue 15th September

International Freshers - walk in Avenham Park: 2pm - 5pm; Avenham Park; Meet us outside the university library at 2pm and we’ll walk together to Avenham Park, with the chance to get to know other international students and learn your way around the city!

Wed 16th September

Student Group Committee Training: 10am - 4:30pm; Preston Campus; This interactive training day focuses on collaboration, networking, and practical learning, giving student group committee members the skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead their groups effectively.

Floorball session: 5pm - 7pm; STFSC- Sports hall; Floorball is a fun sport which blends the gameplay of ice hockey with some elements of field hockey - but is low contact, indoors, uses a ball instead of puck and we don't play on ice!

Student Group Bingo Night: 5pm - 7pm; Lampworks; Meet New People. Win Great Prizes. Have Fun.

Thu 17th September

International Freshers - British Buffet and Human bingo 🔥🇬🇧: 6pm - 9pm; ME320; Join us at 6pm in ME320 for a British buffet with traditional British snacks and a fun game of human bingo! This is a great chance for you to meet other international students and have a fun time! We’re expecting maybe 20 students.

Floorball session: 4pm - 5:30pm; STFSC- Sports hall; Floorball is a fun sport which blends the gameplay of ice hockey with some elements of field hockey - but is low contact, indoors, uses a ball instead of puck and we don't play on ice!

International Freshers - Afternoon tea: 2pm - 5pm; All Saints Church; Join us for afternoon tea at a local church called All Saints, where there will be afternoon tea, games and a chance to meet other new students. We would love to see you We estimate 20 people to come to this event

Sun 20th September

Free Ice Creams: 1pm - 5pm; St Peter's Square; Summer may be over, but there's still time for one last ice cream. Grab a FREE ice cream from our van on St Peter’s Square!

No Pressure, Move-in Party: 1pm - 7pm; Lampworks and St Peter's Square; Come down for a drink and some dinner in Lampworks before the foam party, and take part in our free games and fun for the chance to win prizes!

Freshers Foam Party: 9pm - midnight; 53 Degrees Venue; Expect the wet and wild night out, with huge foam cannons, massive sound system, guest DJ's and nothing but huge vibes all night long!

Silent Disco: 6pm - 9pm; 53 Degrees Venue; Experience anthems and sing-a-longs from the 80's, 90's and 00's in a totally cool and unique way. A huge silent disco with the UK's best DJ's spinning up the ultimate guilty pleasure party!
