Wed 16th September

Student Group Committee Training: 10am - 4:30pm; Preston Campus; This interactive training day focuses on collaboration, networking, and practical learning, giving student group committee members the skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead their groups effectively.

Floorball session: 5pm - 7pm; STFSC- Sports hall; Floorball is a fun sport which blends the gameplay of ice hockey with some elements of field hockey - but is low contact, indoors, uses a ball instead of puck and we don't play on ice!

Student Group Bingo Night: 5pm - 7pm; Lampworks; Meet New People. Win Great Prizes. Have Fun.

Fri 18th September

Floorball session: 4pm - 5:30pm; STFSC- Sports hall; Floorball is a fun sport which blends the gameplay of ice hockey with some elements of field hockey - but is low contact, indoors, uses a ball instead of puck and we don't play on ice!

Sun 20th September

Free Ice Creams: 1pm - 5pm; St Peter's Square; Summer may be over, but there's still time for one last ice cream. Grab a FREE ice cream from our van on St Peter’s Square!

No Pressure, Move-in Party: 1pm - 7pm; Lampworks and St Peter's Square; Come down for a drink and some dinner in Lampworks before the foam party, and take part in our free games and fun for the chance to win prizes!

Freshers Foam Party: 9pm - midnight; 53 Degrees Venue; Expect the wet and wild night out, with huge foam cannons, massive sound system, guest DJ's and nothing but huge vibes all night long!

Mon 21st September

Crazy Golf: 10am - 3pm; St Peters square

Makers Market: 10am - 4pm; University square; Preston’s renowned Makers Market comes to the Union! Discover art, craft, food, drink, coffee, music, and street food from the North West’s finest makers and creators. The ultimate shopping and snacking experience!

Friendship Crafts: noon - 3pm; SU Cafe; Make friendship bracelets and pins, decorate your favourite photos, and add your touch to our giant friendship bracelet.

Tarot Night- Reading Included: 5pm - 7pm; Lampworks; Enjoy a magical evening filled with FREE tarot readings, FREE crafts, crystal stalls, intention sachets and mystical cocktails and mocktails. The perfect way to put your intentions out there to start your year off at university well!

Tue 22nd September

Vintage Folk Vintage Clothing Fair: 9am - 4:30pm; SU Cafe; Vintage Folk is back at the Students’ Union. Discover unique, retro finds at unbeatable prices! Snap up vintage gems before they’re gone.

Makers Market: 10am - 4pm; University square; Preston’s renowned Makers Market comes to the Union! Discover art, craft, food, drink, coffee, music, and street food from the North West’s finest makers and creators. The ultimate shopping and snacking experience!

Meet The Alpacas: 10am - 2pm; St Peter’s Square; Come and see some of the SU’s favourite furry friends. Feed, pet and even take an alpaca for a walk around their pen!

Lampworks Quiz and Karaoke: 8pm - 1am; Lampworks; Come join us for our regular FREE quiz and karaoke for the chance to win some fab Freshers prizes!

Motive Tuesdays @ Blitz: 11pm - 6am; Blitz Nightclub; Every Tuesday, We take over Blitz for a night of pure Motive – Get your groove on with Tech House, Disco, Hip Hop & Party R&B.

Societies Fair: 10am - 4pm; 53 Degrees Venue; Meet our current societies leaders and find out how to join our groups, sign up to a Give-it-a-Go sessions and experience life with our societies.

Sports Fair: 10am - 4pm; University square; Whether you're an experienced athlete or looking to take your sport to the next level, the Sports Fair is your chance to discover everything that student sports teams have to offer.

Edible Cinema – My Neighbour Totoro: 5pm - 7pm; TBC; Experience film like never before! Smell, taste and watch as you enjoy My Neighbour Totoro.

Block Party Wednesdays: 23rd September 9pm - 24th September 6am; Molly O'Malleys, Bamboogy & Blitz; The brand new Wednesday has arrived! Welcome to Block Party, 3 venues (Molly O’Malleys / Bamboogy / Blitz) team up every Wednesday for something brand new! Every week we bring the biggest variety of music, events and drinks deals across the 3 venues.
